NOTES:
- Triple clamp parts
are made
from 6061-T6 aluminum
- Both the lower and upper are thicker than the
stock parts for additional rigidity in the front suspension.
- Parts
are setup for the stock rake and trail.
- Parts come standard in raw
aluminum. Optional hard coat anodizing
available for additional charge.
- The stock lower triple's steering stem is used in the new lower
clamp. This part must be machined out and then permanently
modified. Removal and modification of the
steering stem is included with the kits. The stock lower triple
and stem must be supplied.
- Air preload collars can be retained if desired. Some
modification to the air collar may be necessary.

NOTES:
- Front kits contain everything you need to replace the stock
front wheel with a wheel from a 1991-94 CBR600F2 (VF500's also have the option of
a 1988-89 CBR600F Hurricane wheel).
- Rear kits contain everything you need to replace the stock
rear wheel with a wheel from a CBR600F2 and can be used with any wheel from
91-94. Wheel, tire and sprocket carrier are not included.
- Kits require parts
to be sent in for modification. The front kits require the VF's
speedometer drive gear to be modified for use with the F2
wheel. The VF700/750/1000 rear kits require the F2
sprocket carrier to be modified, the VF500 rear kits must use a
modified VF500 sprocket carrier part. Modification of
these components is included in the kit prices. Stock parts
noted must be supplied by the customer for modification.
- Rear kits include new fasteners to replace the studs on the
sprocket carrier.
- Prices for all kits include machining of stock components. The
stock part must be shipped to the address below. Modified part
will be returned with the kit. For the VF500 kit the stock
sprocket carrier will be modified. The VF1000F kit requires
modifying the
CBR600F2 sprocket carrier. These parts are not included
and must sent to the address below after the kit has been ordered.
- The VF1000R kit requires the use of a CBR600F2 rear caliper and
bracket (not included). This kit also requires drilling of the
swingarm to mount the bracket guide. Service for the available
at no charge. Please e-mail
before ordering to receive a special link that includes the additional
shipping charge.
- The VF500F kit for use with the F1
wheel is for applications using the stock forks and un-modified
wheel.
- The VF500 F2 wheel kit requires machining of the F2 front
wheel. Machining details included with the kit. Front
wheels do not need modified for use on VF700/750/1000 applications.
- The VF500 front kit for use with the F2 wheel requires the use of the
original VF500 rotors.
- For all models the maximum rear tire size is a 160/60-17. Recommended
front tire sizes:

parts required are extra (fluid is included).
When ordering please note the weight of fluid desired. Stock
is 7.5w, but 10w is suggested for stock and 15w or 20w with Gold Valves.

The Gold Valve Emulators for the 84 VF700 come with
a special spacer to make a standard RaceTech part fit.
