Well, here is the first installment for this project. What I am doing here is replacing the stock front wheel with one from a CBR600F2. This is a great modification as many of you know. A kit is available for this modification, see the Performance Parts Page for ordering information.
The benefits of this are:
17" x 3.5" wheel allows you to use modern tires (120/70 recommended)
The 17" wheel diameter makes a huge improvement in handling
Looks cool!
The following parts will need to be modified or replaced:
Wheel spacers
Bearings in the F2 wheel
Speedometer drive gear
